This spring, show us your bird-safe window for a chance to win!

Get creative, help save birds, and have fun this spring with Bird Safe Guelph!

From April 1st to May 31^st, decorate your window following bird safe guidelines (contest rules below) and share your creation with us @birdsafeguelph to be entered to win one of three prize packages generously provided by local Guelph businesses.

Stop by Wild Birds Unlimited and pick up a Free Bird Safe Guelph Window Transformation Kit (Starting April 1st – limited supply of Artist and Feather Friendly Kits available)
Stop by Wyndham Art Supplies and purchase any oil-based white paint markers (medium to thick tip)
Get creative with other bird-safe window transformations
Select a window on your home and clean the exterior thoroughly
Get decorating!

Be sure to follow the guidelines below when decorating your window. Only windows that follow these guidelines will be considered.

Make sure your markings are at least 5mm wide
Make sure markings are no more than 5 cm apart
Apply markings directly to the outside of your window
Markings should cover the entire window surface
Window markings should be white to provide the greatest contrast and highest visibility to birds

**Ensure markers used are at least 5mm thick and no more than 5cm apart.**

Windows submitted between April 1^st – May 31^st will be posted here and shared on Instagram for others to see. By submitting photos to this contest you are giving permission for Bird Safe Guelph to use your photo for future outreach and promotion.

Windows will be evaluated for creativity and the amount of windowpane retrofitted. Winners will be selected by our Bird Safe Guelph organizing committee and announced June 5^th.
